Carbon-carbon composites refer to a pure carbon multi-phase structure composed of carbon fibers or their fabrics as the reinforcing phase and chemical vapor infiltration pyrolytic carbon or liquid phase impregnation-carbonized resin carbon, pitch carbon as the matrix. They have the advantages of low density, low thermal expansion coefficient, good high-temperature mechanical properties, and high specific strength, making them candidates for thermal structural components. They are lightweight, with a density of 1.65-2.0g/cm3, only a quarter of that of steel; their mechanical properties increase with temperature (up to 2200°C), making them engineering materials that can maintain high-temperature strength above 2200°C; they have a small linear expansion coefficient and good high-temperature dimensional stability; excellent ablation resistance; high damage tolerance and good thermal shock resistance; good friction characteristics, with a stable friction coefficient that can be adjusted within the range of 0.2-0.45; high load-bearing capacity, strong overload capacity, and the ability to withstand temperatures below 3200°C for long periods without bonding; long service life, with wear amounts about 1/3 to 1/7 of powder metallurgy brake materials under the same conditions; high thermal conductivity and large specific heat capacity, making them excellent materials for heat sinks; excellent fatigue resistance; certain toughness; and easy maintenance. They are widely used in photovoltaic semiconductors, metallurgy, heat treatment, friction structural components, high-temperature structural components, and other fields. They can be provided in various shapes such as plates, discs, cylinders, irregular structures, bolts, nuts, and fasteners.
Our company can customize carbon-carbon composite products according to different technical indicators and drawing requirements of customers.
